How do I set up mobile access on my Altistat™ (2023 Installs and Newer)?
All things Altistat™ Mobile
PLEASE NOTE. You need an Altistat™ to use the mobile application, older ACT controllers (installed before 2023) are not compatible with Altistat™ Mobile.
To download the Mobile Application Use the links here:
If you haven't registered for an Administrator account, please do so now through the form here.
Altistat mobile enables basic control over user's cabled Altistat(s). The functions include:
- State change (RUN, STANDBY, OFF)
- Theme adjustment (Dark or Light)
- Lock settings (Device Lock and/or Settings Lock via Pin)
- Run schedule adjustment
- Ability to switch between connected Altistat systems (if permitted)
Updating the Run Schedule
- Open Altistat by ACT on your mobile device
- If you have access to multiple systems, select the one you wish to alter from the Device dropdown menu.
- Go to Settings (top right "gear" icon) and tap Schedule
- Toggle the Schedule On if not On already
- Select the day of the week for which you want to start scheduling (you can drag left/right on the day name to see the other days if they aren't visible). Tapp Add Another Run to bring up the time chooser. You can select your start start and end times. If you select an end time that occurs before your start time, the scheduler will default to ending the scheduled run for the next day. Note: We suggest keeping a 15 minute gap between Run cycles to ensure they are cycled properly.
- Use the Copy to Days link if you wish to copy this run schedule to other days by choosing the other days on which you want this to apply with the day picker. Ensure to tap Save Changes before leaving the Scheduler. The button should highlight itself if changes have been made since the last save.
- You can add as many Run periods as you want during a single day cycle as long as they don't overlap.
- To delete a Run period, simply tap the Remove link and Save Changes. You'll need to delete any copied periods from each day or again copy the updated schedule to the the other days of the week.
You will see the system transition to Standby after the desired run period. The system will remain in Standby until the next Run cycle unless the schedule is overridden on the main screen. We suggest disabling the schedule and setting the system to Off if users are going to be away for an extended period of time. The schedule itself will be saved and can be toggled back to On when the user returns--or they can do it remotely.
User Password Reset
If you forget your password, you can reset it from the app login screen. You will need to tap the Forgot you password? link. You will then receive a code via email. You will need this code on the next screen in order to set a new password.
Ownership or Administrative Changes
If you'd like to change the System Administrator, we'll need an email from the current Administrator relinquishing their Admin rights and naming the new System Administrator. We'll validate the against our records before making the change and will notify both parties once complete via email.
If you've purchased a home with an existing Altitude Control Technology system. You'll need to either get a release as stated above from the previous System Administrator or prove ownership of the home. You'll also need to purchase a software license (in home and mobile).
Display Issues
If your display is overlaid and/or doesn't look right, you may need to reduce your text size on your phone.
Connection Issues
Your Altistat must be connected to your home WIFI in order for you to connect remotely through your mobile device.
